About Brendan

Brendan Martin is a co-founder of Martin Physical Therapy. He is a New York City-based running, triathlon, and strength & conditioning coach.
Brendan is also a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in endurance athletes and gait mechanics.
He competes in both distance running and triathlon, holding a 64:10 Half-Marathon PB, and a marathon PB of 2:15. Brendan has qualified for the Olympic Trials in the marathon three times and was named New York Road Runner’s Runner of the Year in 2019.
About Aubrey

Aubrey Martin is a co-founder of Martin Physical Therapy. She holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Prior to Martin PT, Aubrey worked as a Physical Therapist in leading New York City hospital systems and has experience with Oncology and Orthopedic rehabilitation.
She has enjoyed running since taking an “Intro to Marathon Training” course in college, taught by Chris Lundstrom, the head coach for team Minnesota Distance Elite. Since then she has shaved more than 90 minutes off her marathon time to run a Boston Qualifier of 3:28 at the NYC marathon. Her coaching strategy is influenced by personal experiences and by her exercise physiology knowledge from her doctorate. She enjoys supporting runners of all levels by helping them develop their fitness and intuition.
About Ravenna

Ravenna Neville is an endurance junkie currently based in the Greater Boston area. Coach Rav has over seventeen years of running experience rising the ranks from high school walk on to two time Division III All American in Cross Country and Track & Field.
After graduating from Wesleyan University (Go Cardinals!), she turned her attention to the roads and holds PBs of 2:50 in the marathon and 1:21 in the half marathon.
While running remains her first love, Coach Rav recently developed a passion for gravel racing and mountain biking all over New England. She loves working with athletes of all ability levels in distances from the 5k through the marathon.
About Johannes

Johannes Motschmann is a professional marathon runner from Germany. He holds a Master’s degree in psychology from Iona College in New York and is currently pursuing his MD in Germany.
At Iona, MoJo was an NCAA All American in Cross Country. His running PBs include 2:11:30 for the marathon and 61:45 for the half marathon. He has represented Germany on the international stage numerous times, most recently finishing 24th at the 2023 World Championship Marathon.
Johannes is passionate about coaching and sharing his running knowledge with others. He customizes every training plan using a holistic approach based on the individual’s needs, strengths and weaknesses. He takes his athletes’ feedback into consideration to optimize the balance of strain and recovery in order to stay healthy and train consistently. Johannes loves working with athletes of all abilities from the mile to the marathon.
About Amy

Amy Stephens is a registered dietitian, certified specialist in sports nutrition, runner and food coach. She has over 20 years experience working with amateur and Olympic level athletes to achieve their sports performance goals. Amy serves as team dietitian for Empire Elite Track Club, and has traveled with her team to the Olympic trials in Eugene, OR as well as many other qualifying meets, where she learned first-hand how to fuel high performing athletes for competition.
Amy has experience working with athletes with a history of eating disorders, including relative energy deficiency syndrome. She works with her athletes to find holes in their current eating plans and creates easy-to-follow steps to improve their health and performance. She is a runner herself and recently ran her first Boston qualifying (BQ) time in 2021.
About Luciano

Luciano Fiore is a professional middle-distance athlete hailing from Bay Shore, NY. Running for Empire Elite Track Club, Luc specializes in the 800m where he is a four-time qualifier for the USATF National Championships in the event. He holds a best of 1:46.62 for the half-mile, a time he has consistently improved since graduating from Siena College in 2020.
Outside of his own running career, he is a track and cross country coach at the Master’s School in Dobbs Ferry. His charisma and passion is clear through his coaching with an infectious motivational spirit backed by years of experience in the sport.
